PASTOR T.L. AND FIRST LADY GWENDOLYN BREWER
Pastor T. L. Brewer accepted Christ at the age of 12 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church under the pastorate of the Late Reverend F.L. Standberry. He acknowledged His call into the gospel ministry on October 24, 1974. In April of 1980, Pastor Brewer united with the Faith Temple Church of God in Christ under the pastorate of his spiritual grandfather, the late Vernon Richardson and there was filled with the Holy Ghost.
While serving our country in the United States Military, Pastor Brewer served as Superintendent of six churches in the state of Hawaii. In February of 1995, Pastor Brewer prayed out the New Covenant Church of God in Christ in Omaha, Nebraska. Pastor Brewer has served in many capacities within the Church of God in Christ. He currently serves as the Jurisdictional Financial Chairman of the Eastern Nebraska Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction COGIC, the District Financial Chairman for Monte J. Bradford District, the National Adjutant Overseer under the leadership of Bishop Matthew Williams, and Chief Adjutant for Bishop Joseph L. Shannon, Sr.
Pastor Brewer earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration in August 2013 and a master’s degree in public administration in November 2014 respectively from Kaplan university. Pastor Brewer is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Public Administration.
Missionary Gwendolyn Brewer accepted Christ at an early age at the Faith Temple Church of God in Christ under the pastorate of the late Bishop Vernon Richardson. She graduated from the Omaha Public Schools. On June 12, 1982, Missionary Brewer united in holy matrimony with Pastor T.L. Brewer. She has been employed by the Omaha Public Schools for several years as a School Bus Driver. Missionary Brewer is the proud mother of three children; La’Duan, Le’Kendrick and Terriyanna.
